Story
Gail Starr - Owner
With experience in both factual and scripted television, Gail has worked full-time and in-house as an Indigenous Cultural and Heritage Monitor with top production companies like Thunderbird Entertainment and Great Pacific Media. She contributed to and, in some cases, helped produce acclaimed shows such as Deadman’s Curse (History TV), Wild Rose Vets (APTN), Highway Thru Hell (USA Network Canada), Timber Titans (USA Network Canada) and Super Team Canada (Crave). Her work as one of the Deadman’s Curse podcast's Producers earned two Signal Awards for best History podcast.

Gail’s diverse background also includes law enforcement and environmental policy. As a Constable with the RCMP for 31 years and an Environment & Enforcement Advisor for the BC Government, she worked closely and built trust with Indigenous communities. Her mission is to ensure meaningful collaboration between film productions and Indigenous Nations, providing cultural integrity and authenticity in media.
